Completed in 2020, the Jordan Creek Wind project began producing renewable energy in Warren and Benton Counties.

Project Specs:

  • 146 GE wind turbines

Long-term Economic Benefit:

  • $75M in landowner payments
  • $50M in Tax Revenue
  • $8M in Economic Development Funding
  • $600k in new jobs

Local County Impacts:

  • $500K worth of land surveying
  • $600K permit fees
  • $2.5M and 17miles of new asphalt
  • 50 miles of county road improvements

 

Funds have been used toward:

State Line fire department, County Highway, Purdue Extension
services, Boy Scout & County park, county youth baseball program, Senior Citizens Center
